Lost and Found
Starting way back in 1996, our church began a ministry that has now become part of who we are to the community. We began a puppet ministry under the leadership of Mark Patterson. It was originally intended to help bring some life into our church as we were losing people. We named our puppet ministry The Glory Gang. During our first several years, we did puppets in church and eventually we went on the road.
The Glory Gang took a short hiatus while Mark and Carla Patterson worked and attended another church. After a few years away, they realized that First Presbyterian Church was their home and the puppet ministry came back. We gave ourselves a new name, "Lost and Found".
Since 1996, we have grown our puppet ministry from a few puppets and simple stage to many puppets and grand stages. One year, we need to expand the front of our church so we could have more room for our Christmas programs. We have "2 weeks" to get everything back together. Our church family and community have supported us tremendously and without fail for all these years, and we are truly grateful they have allowed our unique ministry. When we all get together, there is nothing that we can't do in "2 weeks".
