Financial Help Available through Crown

APC is blessed to have a partnership relationship with Crown Financial Ministries.

If you want someone to help you with an in-depth evaluation of your income, spending, debt, saving, and giving, you can meet with a Money Map Coach at no charge.  Crown's trained volunteer Money Map Coaches work with couples and individuals, helping them develop a personal spending plan, apply Biblical principles of stewardship, build a plan to get out of debt, and achieve spiritual and financial freedom.  There is no fee for this service.

Recently, Pastor Ken Winter met with Pamela Christensen, who is the Area Director for Northern California/Northern Nevada for Crown.  Her office phone is (916) 787-4541 and her email is: pchrist@crown.org.  Pamela said she’d furnish a list of program graduates who might provide the financial counseling the Deacons seek to provide to those to whom we give financial support. Crown offers two options for Money Map coaching:

  1. Online Money Map coaching:  You may chat online privately with one of the available Money Map Coaches at no charge.
  2. In-person Money Map coaching:  You may meet in person with a volunteer Money Map coach.  To get contact information, you may
  • Go online and fill out a form to receive the name and phone number of a volunteer Money Map coach in your area.  Important Note:  Please fill out all of the information on the form so that Crown will be able to locate the coach nearest you.
  • Request an in-person oach by calling (800) 722-1976.  Select option 3 and follow the instructions on the recording.  Someone will call back and give you the name and contact information for the oach nearest to you.

Once you receive the coach's information, you will need to call the coach to set up your first appointment.
