Local Ministry
Auburn Presbyterian Church is strongly committed to being involved with ministry that assists people with their needs. This is a key component of our mission. APC provides volunteers, finances, and facilities to assist the groups listed here.
Auburn Presbyterian Church believes in member involvement in making a difference for other people. More people are involved in the ministry of Auburn Interfaith Food Closet than any other but we encourage people to find a niche for themselves in Salvation Army, Boys & Girls Club, Assistance League, Sutter Auburn Faith Hospital Volunteers, Rock Creek Elementary School, Acres of Hope, What Would Jesus Do?, and more. As a church, we participate in The Gathering Inn hosting this nomadic homeless shelter several times a year.
We sponsor the Placer Caring Connection. This ministry endeavors to communicate local mission information to every religious congregation in Placer County and including Truckee and Incline Village as they are part of the Tahoe Area Collaborative.
