At APC's Powerlab 2008, kids join with Fizz, Sparki, Dewd, Max, and Electra to discover the miraculous power of Jesus.
Each day covers a different bible point, reinforced through several activities:
- Sonic Sing and Play—a time of joyful singing
- Hyperspeed Games—games and science experiments
- Cinema Science—video and activities
- Test Tube Treats—yummy snacks
- Bible Blast—a hands-on experience of the day's bible story
- Wacky Works Crafts and Missions—theme-related crafts and Operation Kid-to-Kid
- Faith Fusion Finale—songs, presentations, and experiments to tie the day together
Children don't just come to the this VBS—they will take part in fun Bible learning they can see, hear, touch and even taste! Bible Point Crafts, team building games, and lively Bible songs, and tasty treats are just a few of the Power Lab activities that help faith flow into real life. Every day, kids choose a Daily Challenge, an exciting way to live out what they've learned. They will also participate in a hands-on mission project called Operation Kid-to-Kid that involves nearly a million other children across North America.
Power Lab is great fun for children of all ages; even teenagers enjoy signing on as Crew Leaders who help younger children. And parents, grandparents and friends are invited to join us each day at 11:30, because that's when we'll be having the Faith Fusion Finale, a daily celebration of the power of Jesus.
The day's fun runs from 9:00 AM to noon. Plan to arrive by 8:45 for check-in.
