Prayer in the Making
The Why and How of Effective Prayer
Auburn Presbyterian Church was pleased to present Prayer in the Making: The Why and How of Effective Prayer on Friday and Saturday, August 24 & 25, 2007.
Our speaker was the Reverend Dan H. Prout. He and his wife Kathleen founded Pray Nevada County and Convene Arrowhead, a prayer strategy research team. Dan consults on prayer and healing ministry at congregational and county-wide levels. He is also president of Sierra Ministries International, a trans-denominational group incorporated in 1985 which focuses on prayer, worship, and unity in the Body of Christ.
Dan presented material covering the believer's authority, the model of Jesus, and a person's or group's sphere of influence. He discussed some strategies and topics for prayer, and provided valuable resources for growing in prayer.
